Job Description: The Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective operation of our sales team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive support to our sales representatives and business development team, enabling them to focus on building and maintaining client relationships while you handle administrative and logistical tasks.

You will be a key liaison between the sales team and other departments within the organization, ensuring effective communication and coordination to help grow our business. This role will also be heavily involved in working with 3rd party vendors and distributors to secure the best prices for Tekscape on products and services to be resold to our clients.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sales quotes for products and services for our customers in a timely manner to adhere to SLAs.
  • Register sales deals with applicable manufacturers (Cisco, Dell, HP, etc) for discounts.
  • Lead all agreement renewal activities (vendor subscriptions) including quoting, pricing and quote delivery for our clients.
  • Convert all won sales opportunities into sales orders for the next stage in purchasing.
  • Manage sales documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate sales opportunity data within CRM (ConnectWise)
  • Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for sales meetings and reviews.
  • Coordinate internal meetings and communications to keep the sales team informed and aligned.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed for sales related activities.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely follow-up on tasks within CRM (ConnectWise).
  • Contribute insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies and processes.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track sales performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

 

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in business, management, sales or a related field (preferred).
  •  Proven experience in sales support and customer service.
  •  MSP experience strongly preferred.
  •  Experience with ConnectWise Manage and ConnectWise Sell.
  •  Product knowledge for selling Cisco and Microsoft solutions to customers.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  •  Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
